I am interested in painting details of nature to highlight the way small things can add up to the size of a planet. Every little thing we do to care for the planet can help. I have recently started a new series of small paintings on canvas that are like little windows to the treasures of nature.

Rocks on the coast painting series. Painting on canvas 40 cm x 40 cm

Seed pods

I completed this painting of a zebra finch today.

This magnolia is unfurling and watching.

These branches are bending and gesticulating in the wind.

This tree is full of eyes watching people and how they treat the planet.

This tree is full of life and movement.

I completed a painting of the rocks on the edge between water and land

I completed a new painting. The knotty roots are like hands or feet clawing at the earth. I am interested in how the trees are like fragments from fairytales.

I made a wooden box to display my small unframed paintings.

I painted this image as a memory of walking in our beautiful forests.

I am currently creating some larger paintings (that I want to keep as a surprise) so I am posting a tiny one I completed last night. 17 c.m. x 17 c.m.
